For airfield names and codes, the current one will be listed, or for closed airports, the last one.
The airfield codes are the codes assigned by ICAO (four letters) and IATA (three letters). Some countries additionally assign local codes, like Canada (a C followed by two other letters and a number), France (a semi-official system for mainly ultralight fields, consisting of the letters LF followed by two numbers indicating the departement, followed by two numbers indicating the airfield within the departement) and the USA (two to four character combinations of letters and numbers). When an airfield has multiple codes, they will be listed in the order of ICAO, IATA and Local.
